You have no idea how many times I go on twitter and atleast once a week get called fat. And every other week, that one tweet gets to me. Yes I muted them, yes I muted the conversation. But...that one tweet got to me, and I actually love myself, but today, it really got to me. Let me talk about something.

I am 5'6 and weight around 220 pounds, my chest, and butt is bigger than my stomach, I have a small pudge. I work out, and try to eat healthy, but I love how big I am. I have an hour glass figure (the curves are not seen but my measurements show it is true), not trying to prove anything, but I just go back and look at my pics and wonder "What do people see that make them think I'm fat?". I hate the word "fat" its such a horrible mean word. I have took a long time to love myself, and love the fact that my mom gave me chubby cheeks, its not my fault. I drink strictly water, and have never had a problem with getting a partner. My self confidence goes through the roof, but today really hurt me. Something about the fact that someone wanted to hurt me and wanted to trigger me. I wasn't triggered at the time, it usually takes time for me to actually think about what the person said. Which leads me to this article, something that has to be said, although I'm sure it has been said before. I just feel that I should also put my input.

Fat Shaming is when someone shames another person for being "fat" or overweight, the excuse usually is "You shouldn't spread obesity" although the person most of the time is not a doctor and usually is not the persons doctor. People take hours out of their day to get on social media and fat shame someone who usually displays confidence. I don't know why people hate when big women show that they love themselves, but is perfectly fine when a women who is societies standards love themselves. I don't know why men has set the "rule" that fat is ugly, when it's not, plus sized, fat, is BEAUTIFUL. Just like ANY other body sized, all of them are beautiful. Why do people care so much about strangers and their size? You want to promote a healthy lifestyle but don't think about the mental toll it takes on the person while bring "awareness" to the fact they just might be over weight. You forget the fact that those comments causes some people to go and cry and look in the mirror and say "I'm ugly". You dont think about just IF she looses weight, she won't be happy with herself because she already viewed herself as ugly inside and out?? What makes you think you trying to bring "awareness" is going to help her mentally? I've seen women argue about obesity but most of the "bringing awareness" is done by MEN. This is not a "I hate men" page, absolutely not, but it is the truth. You guys constantly shame women, you constantly change the beauty standard and hate the fact a big woman loves herself so much you have to tear her down. I've seen Lizzo get called a bomb that will be dropped by Trump in Iran. Men have shammed her so much she decided to leave Twitter. Men get so confused when they see a big woman loving themselves, they don't know what do with themselves, which leads me to my next point.

Why do people associate big with ugly? Why do people automatically assume since a woman is big she doesn't love herself? I have big thighs and big chest and I have a stomach but I love myself, I look in the mirror when I wake up and say "Damn....you are beautiful". I look around my room filled with all my accomplishments and say "Damn...you did that". I look on TV and see two plus sized black women dancing on Beyonce's Coachella documentary and say "Damn...they did that". I love all of this and all I have to offer, from my back rolls, to my thunder thighs. That stereotype that big women have a problem finding a man or women is a LIE in my case. I never ever had a problem finding ANY man, or ANY women. I never had a problem getting spoiled and taken out. Like I said I love my thunder thighs, and my boyfriend does too. So lets talk about that. A man told me "He's trying to get my self esteem up" baby no, if my self esteem gets any higher God might can just give it a high-five. Thats how high my self esteem is. What makes you think big means lonely and miserable? I'm no where near miserable, I walk through the hallway at my school and get stares, and its not because I look goofy, it's because I look good.

Now that we got that in check we can go back to the fact you are letting the big woman that you think is "not attractive" be in your thought process. Why you care so much what a grown woman is doing? I thought she's ugly? Make it make sense. How angry, bitter, and miserable can you be to have to say something about things you don't like? If you don't like it, why say something? You want someone who looks like Megan but do you think someone like Megan wants you? The woman that you fat shame you think she would even look your way? You think "Oh she is fat" ok and now what? That ego your momma pumped up needs to be bursted because you in for a rude awakening. We. Don't. Care. I'm so tired of the fat shaming, skinny shaming, body shaming. Stop. Why do you care soooooooooo much? What are you gaining? That "haha that sure did trigger her" comment with 2 likes and 1 retweet? What is it?

Back to what I said earlier, I look good. God made me "big" "fat" "thick" all that. You can't convince me I'm ugly. There is actually no one in the world to convince me I'm ugly except me, I have always be big, and I will happily always stay big. Period.
